The 10th International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic World: KazanSummit 2018”

KazanSummit is one of the leading international economic events of the Russian Federation and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). From the first day of its existence, the Summit has been held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan – Rustam Minnikhanov. Since 2009, KazanSummit is held annually and strongly supported by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Top international investment conference remains the main and unique platform for cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.

KazanSummit 2017 brought together 2641 participants from international organizations, federal and local authorities, financial institutions, embassies of 15 states, members of parliament, investors and businessmen, representing 53 country, and 250 journalists.

The aim of the KazanSummit is to strengthen trade and economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member countries. The key topic of KazanSummit 2018 will be "Halal Lifestyle". The Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan find new ways of unlocking cooperation capacities with the Islamic world countries. An international platform for collaboration and joint project realization has been created, as well as the economics and investment climate presentation opportunities of our country.
